EXPLORE WORLD CULTURES THROUGH CLAY FOR ALL GRADES
With wet moist clay, the hands, a few tools and ideas, the child will create
sculptural vessels and containers inspired by the arts and craft traditions of South America, Africa, and Asia. Instruction will include demonstration of various hand-building techniques, tool usage and glaze application.

CAPTURING THE BEAUTY OF HAWAII’S FLORA AND FAUNA
~ Drawing and Painting
Grades 3, 4, & 5
With graphite, watercolors, acrylic paint, printing inks and a variety of brushes applied to different paper and cardboard surfaces, students will learn to interpret with value, color and texture to capture the island’s tropical environment. Class time will include “Scratch Foam“ printing.
